Insurers have to rethink. The trend is towards large ecosystems from big tech providers who take care of customer needs instead of insurers that only sell policies. Only the fittest will survive, said Pierre Dubosq, from the software provider tech11 at the breakfast briefing of the insurance monitor. In particular smaller insurers have to look for partners if they want to keep up speed and digital transformation.
