  • tech11 GmbH

The BearingPoint Kaleidoscope SHUK Study 2025 is one of the most comprehensive independent analyses of core insurance platforms in the German insurance market. This year's study evaluated 89 solutions, incorporating feedback from more than 500 participants representing over 100 insurance companies.

As part of this assessment, tech11 has been recognized as a Selected Vendor, highlighting the company's relevance as a provider of modern core insurance technology for the German market.

Positioning in the Kaleidoscope Matrix

The Kaleidoscope Study evaluates vendors based on two key dimensions:

  • Market Presence – reflecting completed implementations in the market
  • Market Penetration – reflecting insurers' perception and evaluation of vendors

In addition, vendors are grouped into four clusters: Power Player, Standard Player, Niche Player, and Digital Player.

tech11 is strongly positioned in both the Digital Player and Niche Player categories. This dual positioning highlights the relevance of flexible platform architectures for a wide range of digital insurance operating models, from specialized product portfolios to international platform strategies.

According to the study, tech11's positioning is based primarily on customer feedback as well as the platform's architectural capabilities. Key strengths highlighted include:

  • Modular, service-oriented platform architecture
  • Support for the full spectrum of German P&C (SHUK) personal and commercial lines, as well as embedded insurance
  • Low-code configuration capabilities for products and business processes
  • International scalability through multi-tenant and multi-currency capabilities
  • Process-centric architecture with AI-supported claims handling and operations
  • Fully automated straight-through processing across the entire insurance lifecycle

The study reflects a broader shift in how modern core insurance platforms are evaluated. Rather than focusing solely on their ability to support existing processes, today's platforms are increasingly assessed by their scalability, configurability, and their ability to enable new business models and evolving insurance operating models.

For us, being recognized as a BearingPoint Selected Vendor 2025 confirms our commitment to providing insurers with a flexible, cloud-native platform that enables them to modernize their core systems, accelerate innovation, and adapt to future market requirements.
