Go-live of online boat insurer Yachting24: a milestone for the Pantaenius Group and tech11
The Hamburg-based Pantaenius Group successfully went live with the online boat insurer Yachting24 and the tech11 Insurance Platform on May 1, 2024. The go-live was accompanied by a relaunch of the Yachting24 brand identity and a holistic redesign of the website.
Project objective: Replacement of the legacy system in several countries
The go-live marked the first relevant milestone of a multi-year project in which the Pantaenius legacy system is gradually being replaced by the tech11 Insurance Platform in 11 European countries and Australia. The go-live of Yachting24 was realized by means of a vertical cut-through in which all Pantaenius peripheral systems were already connected . This laid an important foundation for the subsequent project phases.
Introduction of the modular platform and automation of processes
Following the introduction of the modular platform and the successful migration of the data, the policy and claims management, partner and accounting modules are now in productive use. The direct connection of the online insurer's website via API enables an automated exchange with the core insurance system.
Martin Baum's statement on the successful partnership
Martin Baum, Managing Director of the Pantaenius Group, comments on the successful go-live: "We are delighted that the results of our collaboration with tech11 are bearing fruit with the go-live of Yachting24 . This project represents a significant step in our efforts to modernize the systems in our company in order to be even better equipped for the digital future and thus create a better customer experience."
Digital transformation and modernization of processes
In addition to replacing the legacy system, the project also includes other aspects of digital transformation. These include the modernization and automation of processes, changes to internal work and responsibility structures and, in particular, more comprehensive services for Pantaenius customers.
Statement by Pierre Dubosq on the successful milestone
Pierre Dubosq, CEO tech11, adds: "We are proud to have reached this first significant milestone together with Pantaenius. The challenges lie both in the complexity of special products up to superyachts and in the multinational context, where we can demonstrate the strengths of our flexible platform. I am very confident about the further project phases, as we now have a well-coordinated team that will solve the next challenges in partnership."
Further phases of the implementation project until the end of 2026
In the further phases of the implementation project, all other Pantaenius countries and business units will be successively transferred to the tech11 Insurance Platform by the end of 2026.
